A wonderful Saturday
Have you ever just taken random pictures with your friends for fun? OH man, its sooo much fun. This past Saturday morning, a little earlier than I would have liked, I was able to help with Bison Daze and a fun photo scavenger hunt called the Amazing Race. My group was called Default, funny name. We went against 5 other groups of students and one group of parents. Our pictures ranged from playing the piano in the new lobby, to taking a picture with Dr. Burks, the president of Harding. He was so helpful and even invited us into his home to take the picture. As much as I wish I could say we won, sadly the parents came victorious. But we had a wonderful time, and the pictures came out great. It was also a wonderful start to a very busy weekend.
That evening we had a black out basket ball game. A black out game means that all the fans wear black and some even paint their faces, however that is a normal thing. The games at Harding are amazing; mainly because of how much the fans support every team. I got all decked out in my Harding attire and headed for the game in high spirits. If you have never been to a Harding game you are missing out. Harding students have spirit written on their hearts, haha ok that was pretty cheesy, but I love our athletic games. That game was especially fun because the house was packed and the game was a close one. Yet in the end HARDING WON. Go Harding.
Well its been a long day and I need to get my sleep. Its going to be an early morning. I’m going to College Church with my friends and then to open house later in the afternoon. Open house is a time when girls and guys can go into each others dorm for two hours. The doors do have to be open, but it’s a great time to play ddr, watch movies and just veg. Well goodnight all and I hope your day has been as amazing as mine. Be sure to look at my next post, its going to be all about my future trip to Venezuela for a mission trip during Spring Break, and also next week I have my first golf Tournament. So be sure to watch how the lady bison golf team does at Lion.
